Ford Amphitheatre (Hollywood, CA)

The award-winning Afro-Brazilian dance troupe known as Viver Brasil steams up a summer night with joyous dance, live music and exotic storytelling. Now celebrating their 15th anniversary, they’ll bring their vibrant culture, rooted in the African heritage of Salvador, Bahia and Brazil, to colorful life on the famed outdoor stage at the Ford in a mix of traditional and modern styles. In Intersections Aje, brightly-costumed drummers, dancers and singers weave musical tales of love and intrigue through sambas, maracatus, forrós and more. LA Weekly calls their performances a “vibrant swirl of motion and music.”
