USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Sunday, May 26, 2013, the Toronto Women’s Half-Marathon and 5-km Run event will take place starting in Sunnybrook Park. The event route extends south through the park system into E.T. Seaton Park and Taylor Creek Park.

This year’s event will see a detour due to bridge construction. For a small portion of the route, the runners will be utilizing the southbound curb lane of Don Mills Road, between Gateway Blvd North and the park entrance located south of Overlea Boulevard. The lane closure will take place from approximately 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Half-Marathon Event Route: starting at 8 a.m.
Formation Area: Sunnybrook Park
Southbound Through to E.T. Seaton Park
Westbound , in park system to Pottery Road
Eastbound, into Taylor Creek Park to Victoria Park
Westbound , in park system
Eastbound, at the Science Centre Gateway Blvd (north)
Southbound, Don Mills Rd (southbound curb lane)
Eastbound, park system
U-turn, Victoria Park Road
Westbound , park system
Northbound, Don Mills Road (southbound curb lane)
Westbound , at Science Centre (Gateway Blvd North)_
Northbound, park system
Finish Line: Sunnybrook Park north of Eglinton

TTC buses may incur slight delays, southbound on Don Mills Road, due to lane restrictions and at the Overlea Blvd and Don Mills Road intersection.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
