Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It's been five days since the sudden death of Jiah Khan; while reports have been rife in blaming her suicide to her apparent depression due to her slow peaking career, the actress' family has finally decided on breaking their silence.

Amidst the barrage of media coverage and rumours, Jiah's mother Rabia Khan defended Jiah stating that contrary to rumours that Jiah was depressed due to lack of film opportunities and on medication for the same, she was in fact perfectly fine. Further Rabia adds that it was the deception and lies from the only one Jiah loved the most that upset her, claiming that she fell for a wrong guy.

Jiah was dating Aditya Panscholi's son Suraj for a few months now. He was the last person she spoken to before commiting suicide.

Apart from the statement, the Khan family wants Suraj to speak up and let them know what exactly happened between him and Jiah on the ill-fated night.
