USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The Hamilton Police Service Child Abuse Branch (C.A.B.) has arrested and charged a Flamborough man in relation to an alleged child luring incident.
During the month of July 2010, a male who lives in Flamborough requested to be a friend on Facebook with a 14 year-old he had met on another occasion. Once on Facebook with the teenager, the man lured her to meet with him at a location in the east end of Hamilton.
On July 16th, 2010 the man picked the girl up in his vehicle and drove her to a secluded lot where he sexually assaulted her. On August 3rd, 2010, the victim reported the incident to Hamilton Police. The investigation was continued by the C.A.B. Unit.
On Wednesday, August 11th, 2010, Hamilton Police C.A.B. detectives arrested the man alleged to be involved. He is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing today.
