Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Dia Mirza made a rather surprising announcement this year at the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) where she revealed that she will be tying the knot with her beau Sahil Sangha in October. However, the actress wouldn't have got the opportunity if Esha Gupta wouldn't have backed out of the show.
Though rumour mills claim that Esha backed out of the IIJW show for designer Shobhana owing to an issue with remuneration, the actress had a different story. Esha revealed that she had an issue with the outfit designed for her and requested the designers to change it. But according to her, the designer replaced her with Dia without even informing her about it.
Though disappointed, Esha expressed that she was very happy to see Dia walking the ramp for Shobhana Shringar. She also stated the outfit for Dia was different from what was given to her and she looked pretty in the traditional attire.
She also clarified that there were no issues with the remuneration and she has already refunded the amount since she did not walk the ramp.
