The dance floor is always jumpin’ when the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies take the stage, especially on New Year’s Eve. One of the leading forces in the mid-’90s swing music revival, the Daddies first hit the charts with 1997’s “Zoot Suit Riot,” which has become a staple at weddings and sporting events. In 2009, the group celebrated its 20th anniversary and was honored with an induction into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Loved by all ages, the band’s latest album, 2013’s White Teeth, Black Thoughts, finds them returning to their neo-swing and jazz roots.
