Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau believe that a man wanted for the abduction of two North York residents, may have fled to either Vancouver or Montreal.

On Thursday, January 20, 2011, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Peel Police attended an address on Featherston Drive, Mississauga, in response to a complaint of two missing North York men; FEI Xiu Jun (“Johnny”) and HAN Jiangou (“Tony”).

On Wednesday, January 26, 2011, FEI Xiu Jun (“Johnny”) was located in the Don Mills area of Toronto.

The investigation has determined that Mr. FEI was abducted.

As a result of the investigation, officers believe that WU Wei Guo, a 43 year-old male of no fixed address, is responsible for the abduction of both Mr. FEI and Mr. HAN. As a result, a warrant for the arrest of Mr. WU has been issued.

The investigation to date has also led investigators to suspect that WU Wei Guo may have fled to either Vancouver or Montreal, in an attempt to avoid arrest. Police are asking residents of both Montreal and Vancouver to be aware that WU Wei Guo may be in your municipality.

Mr. WU is described as a male, Asian, 5’7” tall, weighing 170 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

If any member of the public sees Mr. WU, or has information on his whereabouts, they should consider him to be dangerous and not approach him. Instead, they should contact 911, where available, or their local police agency.

Investigators would also like to remind members of the public, and the media, that the second abducted male, HAN Jiangou (“Tony”), is still missing. His safe return continues to be the priority for this investigation. To that end, Peel Police are asking the public to understand that the integrity of this investigation is paramount and, accordingly, information will only be released when it is deemed appropriate to do so.
