On Sunday, August 8, 2010, police responded to 508 Parliament Street for a collapse call.

Officers located a deceased 44-year-old woman with no visible signs of injury.

The victim was identified as Beverly Tessier, 44, of Toronto.

The investigation into the woman’s death was being monitored by the Homicide Squad.

In January 2011, through further forensic testing, the woman’s death was determined to be a homicide.

On Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Glenord MacLaughlin, 45, of Toronto, was charged with Manslaughter.

He was scheduled to appear at College Park Court on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, room 501, 10 a.m.
