On May 31, 2011, shortly after 7 p.m., members of the District 2 RCMP responded to a report of a man’s body being found near a gravel pit on the outskirts of the Village of Gagetown, N.B.

When officers arrived, they discovered the body of a 53-year-old man. The man is from Gagetown area. His name has not been released, pending notification of his family.

The RCMP say foul play is not suspected at this time, although the investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s cause of death.
