Police issue warrants for two men in Mississauga murder case

Nitish KhannaPeel Regional Police Homicide investigators have identified two more people allegedly responsible for the death of 19 year-old Nitish Khanna.

On Monday, June 20, 2011, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance call at an address on Torbram Road, in the City of Mississauga. Upon arrival, police discovered a male suffering from obvious signs of trauma. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at the scene.

Canada wide arrests warrants for Second Degree Murder have been issued for:

Manmeet KANG, a 20 year-old male from Toronto. Mr Kang is described as a South Asian male with a thin build with short black hair.

Manjeet SINGH, a 19 year-old male from Toronto. Mr. Singh is described as a South Asian male with a medium build and short black hair.

Investigators believe the suspects may have fled to India.

The following suspects have already been arrested in connection with the case:

Harsimran Singh BAL, a 19 year-old male resident of Brampton, is charged with one count of Second Degree Murder. Mr. BAL, appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

Daljinder SIDHU, a 24 year-old male resident of Toronto, is also charged with one count of Second Degree Murder. Mr. SIDHU appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday, June 24, 2011.

The Peel Regional Police Homicide bureau believes that all suspects allegedly responsible for the homicide of Nitish Khanna have been arrested, or are subject to a Canada wide warrant.
