Recently, we had reported about an arrest warrant being issued against Rakhi Sawant in lieu of her controversial comments about the sage Valmiki, which had hurt the community in a big way. The latest update on the same is that, Rakhi has been arrested by the Punjab Police team who had left for Mumbai and were acting on the arrest warrant issued by a local court.
News reports have it that, when the arrest warrant was issued against Rakhi Sawant, the motor mouth lady initially thought that someone was pulling an April Fool’s joke on her. Only later in the day, did she realise it was not an April Fool’s prank, but an arrest warrant in reality. Realising the mess that she had got herself into, Rakhi Sawant recently gave an interview to a local media wherein she apologised for hurting the sentiments pertaining to ‘Valmiki Bhagwaan’.
