York police continue to search for missing man Rahul Matta

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating a 35-year-old man, who remains missing from the City of Vaughan.

Rahul Matta was last seen on the afternoon of Friday, May 4, 2012, in the area of Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Since that time, Mr. Matta has had no contact with his family or friends, who are concerned about his state of mind. Police are increasingly concerned about the length of time that Mr. Matta has been missing.

Mr. Matta is described as:

– Male, South Asian, 35 years
– 5’6″, 180 lbs., medium build
– Shaved head with short, black hair
– Last seen wearing a white dress shirt, black trousers, a black blazer, black dress shoes
– Wearing a black watch and carrying a black business bag

The investigation is ongoing.
