Hrithik Roshan, who is working on his next project, revealed early this morning that his actor-filmmaker father is diagnosed with early stage of squamous cell carcinoma. It is cancer caused by uncontrolled growth of abnormal squamous cells. The actor will be undergoing surgery today. While many have been sending positive vibes, Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan is praying for the speedy recovery of Rakesh Roshan.
Sussanne Khan, who is very close to the Roshans even after the separation from Hrithik, commented on the picture which the actor had posted from the gym with Rakesh Roshan. She wrote, “He is the stronger than any super hero all will go smoothly.”
Tiger Shroff, who considers Hrithik as one of his role models and is also co-starring in YRF production, wrote, “Superhero DNA overnight recovery!” Many celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Vishal Dadlani among others shared their love and wishes for Rakesh Roshan and family.
In a post shared by Hrithik this morning, he and father are smiling post the gym session after which they will be heading to the hospital for surgery. Hrithik wrote, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad.”
