Refugee Nation, a drama based on the stories of Laotian refugees in the U.S., returns to L.A. after touring the country for five years. A co-production of TeAda Productions and the Latino Theater Company, Refugee Nation looks at generations of Laotian refugees struggling to deal with their home country’s past troubles and the reality of life in their adopted land. Written and performed primarily in English by Leilani Chan and Ova Saopeng, with featured artist Litdet Viravong, the show even features some moments of dialog in Lao. Armando Molina directs.
