An acclaimed British cast, led by Martin Jarvis (Titanic, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and Ian Ogilvy, stars in this live recording of Terence Rattigan’s touching 1948 drama. Professor Andrew Crocker-Harris is nearing the end of his British public school teaching career, but he still faces several problems: he’s stuck in a loveless marriage with a wife who openly cheats on him; he’s considered a tyrant among the students whose lives he has made a living hell; and his superiors are forcing him out early due to ill health. But a simple act of kindness from one of his students begins to have a profound impact on the seemingly heartless headmaster. Staged by L.A. Theatre Works, the play is performed without sets or costumes before a live audience and is recorded for later broadcast on national public and satellite radio.
