Ek Tha Tiger finally gets NOC from Pakistan

Mumbai: After a lot of controversies about the release of Ek Tha Tiger in Pakistan, the film is now going to be released in Pakistan – a gift for Salman Khan’s passionate fans in that terra firma. There were rumors and news about film’s being banned due to its being anti Pakistan. But the latest reports have it that the Pakistani authorities have issue NOC (Non Objection Certificate) to the film.

The sources claim and the reports suggest that the authorities have granted NOC to Ek Tha Tiger’s print to be taken for viewing to Pakistan censor board officials.  After the NOC was granted, the makers of the film (Yash Raj) took a sigh of relief since now the film can be shown in theaters across the country.

The censor board watched the films’ trailers last week and decided to give it NOC to import the film’s print. CBFC’s vice chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Gondal, says in an interview that a few board members watched the trailer of the film and there were mixed reactions so far. The reports reveal that the chairman of CBFC, Shahnawaz Noon is the final authority who will watch the entire movie and issue the approval of screening throughout the country.

The reports further reveal that the print of the film was asked to be provided on August 12^th and the following day (August 13^th) the film will be watched and then the decision on the same day will be taken. The sources are certain that the film will surely get the approval and it will hopefully be released on Eid in Pakistan. Since its release will be on Eid and almost the entire nation is Salman’s fans, Ek Tha Tiger will give mammoth business to Yash Raj Films.

A few days back, Kabir Khan, director of the film has said that the film will be released in few multiplexes in Pakistan. He went on adding that the release in Pakistan was not just important for him, Yash Raj and Salman Khan but also for Pakistani nation. He further told that there were no offensive scenes and dialogues in the film and he said that he was confident for the approval from Pakistan.
