USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Leave it to producer Vashu Bhagnani to come up with an innovative method to promote his films. Last time around, it was an online music launch and now for his upcoming film Ajab Gazabb Love, starring his son Jackky Bhagnani and Nidhi Subbaiah, Vashu has thought of something new. For the first time, theatres screening the film will be serving bananas along with the usual cold drinks and popcorn combos.
Confirming this, Vashu states that he came up with this concept since bananas play a pivotal role in the film, since Jackky and his dad turn banana vendors for some portions of the film. Being the common man's fruit, Vashu decided to give cine viewers a special treat with the bananas.
In fact if the new promotion plans don't manage to send you bananas, the makers have planned not one but five premieres of the film. The lead pair of Ajab Gazabb Love will be city hopping from Cinepolis in Amritsar, to Fun Republic in Chandigarh, to PVR Saket in Delhi, to Inox Crystal in Jaipur and finally finishing off with PVR Indore.
