Ariana Madix is making the best of it during hard times
Ariana Madix, a cast member of the popular reality show Vanderpump Rules, has been in the spotlight lately due to her tumultuous relationship with co-star Tom Sandoval. After being cheated on by Sandoval, Madix is now reportedly asking for a significant salary increase if Bravo wants her back for the upcoming season.
According to a source close to the show, Madix wants nothing to do with Sandoval or his new girlfriend, Raquel Leviss. The only way she will consider sharing screen time with them is if she is paid a hefty sum. Madix knows that the cheating scandal has brought a lot of attention to the show, and she is leveraging her popularity to get what she wants.
The source claims that Madix is demanding the same salary as Lisa Vanderpump, one of the show’s executive producers and a highly paid cast member. While the exact amount of Vanderpump’s salary is unknown, it is rumored to be substantially more than what other cast members make.
Madix’s career is also taking off outside of reality TV. She recently filmed a made-for-TV movie and is slated to appear on Dancing With the Stars. Given her growing success, Madix is not willing to settle for less than what she believes she is worth.
The situation puts Bravo in a difficult position. On the one hand, Madix is a fan favorite and her absence would likely be felt by viewers. On the other hand, paying her the salary she is demanding could set a precedent and cause other cast members to ask for similar increases.
At this point, it is unclear what Bravo’s response will be. They may try to negotiate with Madix to find a compromise that works for both parties, or they may decide to let her walk away. Whatever the outcome, it is clear that Madix is making the most of her jilted status and using it to her advantage.
