On Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 9:25 p.m., police responded to an unknown trouble call at 57 Mabelle Avenue, in the Islington Avenue/Dundas Street West area.
Officers attended the address and located the lifeless body of a man in the south stairwell, with obvious trauma to his body.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as Byron Jones, 20, of Toronto.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.
