Native Voices presents staged readings of new and developing works by Native playwrights followed by Q&As at the Autry, plus you’ll receive a museum voucher for free admission valid through December 31, 2014. Jennifer Bobiwash’s No “I” in NDN is a one-woman show that explores what it means to be native while Our Voices Will Be Heard explores the myth of Wolverine Woman and the effects of sexual abuse in an Alaskan community. An Indian boarding school and the local town struggle over the fate of a young teenage boy unjustly sentenced to death in Measure for Measure, a Shakespeare adaptation set in the Old West.
