He’ll return to grace the stage of the gorgeous Walt Disney Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, under the baton of former Associate Conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya, for a passionate program of Chopin and Prokofiev. The former’s Piano Concerto No. 2, is the Polish composer at his lyrical, youthful best, and is a favorite of Ax’s, who’s released his own recording of it. Prokofiev’s Cinderella suite closes out this romantic evening of music.
