Valley Performing Arts Center – Great Hall (Northridge, CA)

"Bram Stoker's Dracula"

In an age where vampires are ever more sensitive — see Edward Cullen — it’s good to remember the brilliant bloodsucker who started it all. Slip into Victorian London with Dracula during this radio-theater performance featuring a stellar cast and live sound effects. Since Bram Stoker wrote the original novel, Count Dracula remains the most sinister, most charming and most completely terrifying example of the undead to ever rise out of a coffin. Charles Morey’s acclaimed adaptation brings the villain to the stage at the Valley Performing Arts Center’s Great Hall. The L.A. Theatre Works production recounts Count Dracula’s move from Transylvania to England and his battles with the cunning Dr. Van Helsing.
