Group Art Exhibition of emerging artists

No tickets. Open to public during venue operating hours.

February 26 to March 28, 2016

Location: Tantra Lounge (St Clair and Dufferin)

Opening night: February 26, 7-10pm

Monday-Saturday 6:30pm to 1:00 am. Sunday closed.

White is the colour of innocence and purity. What does white mean to you? Snow flakes. Winter. Swans. The moon. Stars. A bride’s dress. Lilies. Clouds. Simplicity. Emptiness…

The possibilities are endless.

Come check out the works of a group of talented local artists and see how they interpret Shades of White. The artists were given full freedom to express their interpretation of white, and the results are spectacular!

A local emerging artist herself, Tanzina Amin started organising group art exhibitions this year, along with her husband and biggest fan Carlos Rodrigues. The exhibitions are a month long each, showcasing emerging talents across Toronto and surrounding cities. The opening nights are vibrant, casual and warm, filled with laughs, mingling and networking of artists and art enthusiasts. The opening nights feature live performances by musicians, authors and poets. Tanzina is always looking for new talent to feature in these events.

All artwork displayed at this event is available for purchase. If you are looking to buy art (paintings, photography, prints, batik, mixed media) directly from the artist and at an affordable rate, you must make time to visit the monthly displays. Artists keep 100% of their revenue.

The venue offers a selected menu of Indian fusion food, though it is primarily a bar. It is a family run business, owners are from India and Dubai. Tanzina personally recommends trying the butter chicken poutine.
