‘Remember, you’re the one who stood me up outside of niketown’

features the work of Toronto-based photographer Holden Isaac Kelly. Exploring themes of solitude and loneliness Kelly is an itinerant being behind the lens; capturing temporal moments of his surrounding cityscape. Kelly’s photographs are taken from the perspective of “the passerby,” as he aestheticizes overlooked landmarks and familiar daily encounters. Kelly’s photographs challenge notions of “mundane” subject matter, as he exhibits the novelty of these passing moments.

Kelly studied Photography at Ryerson, and was most recently the art director of Autumn Studios.

Opening: Thursday, April 7, 2016 / 7 – 11pm

Exhibit runs from April 7 – 13
