Pokemon Clay Workshop
What's it all about:
Gotta create em all!
Make your own Pokemon with air dry clay and add it to your collection. Form your own Pokemon figurines sitting, sleeping, standing, or in battle! They can be keychains or even Pokemon planters.
What will we cover:
We will go over the steps to creating the Pokemon of your choosing from head to toe. You will be guided through the process of working with air dry clay. The fundamental ceramic technique of slip and score for connecting clay forms together, as well as making pinch pot planters will be covered within the workshop. To take this workshop to the next level, you will also learn the Dye Clay technique to mix your own colors and make the perfect Pokemon!
Who is teaching:
Shehleeza Khan is a graduate of OCAD U in criticism and curatorial practice with a minor is industrial ceramics. As well as a Curator and Ceramist, Shehleeza is the co-founder of Broken Antler and Co. She loves spreading her love for clay to others regardless of their skills or experience.
