On Sunday, August 7, 2011, at 11:55 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on Dixon Road at Golfwood Heights.
It is reported that:
– a 76-year-old woman was driving a 2000 Ford Focus, eastbound on Dixon Road, approaching Golfwood Heights,
– a 30-year-old man was riding a 2000 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, westbound on Dixon Road, approaching Golfwood Heights,
– the woman started a left turn, northbound, onto Golfwood Heights and collided with the motorcycle,
The man succumbed to his injuries at the collision scene.
The woman was not injured.
