Greek Theatre (Los Angeles, CA)

Get ready to sing-along to “Somebody That I Used to Know” under the stars as indie singer-songwriter Goyte comes to the gorgeous Greek Theatre. Gotye (as in Jean-Paul Gaultier) had one of the biggest hit singles of 2011 and early 2012 with that tune, which not only scored him a spot at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, but also led to an appearance on Saturday Night Live. The show hilariously parodied the song’s video as well, which is among the most-seen clips of all time on YouTube. Meanwhile, the song itself — off of his third album Making Mirrors — made it to The Voice, American Idol and Glee. The Belgian-Australian pop star, born Wouter “Wally” De Backer, is also one-third of Melbourne indie-pop greats the Basics. He will share the stage with Brooklyn buzzband Chairlift (“Bruises”) and South African-born multi-instrumentalist Jonti.
