The missing person’s case which attracted a nationwide attention has resulted in sad news for the family, friends and others in hope that Tim Bosma would be found alive, but an extensive search across the GTA resulted in the discovery of Bosma’s burnt body. Revealing the details into the investigation in a press conference on Tuesday, Hamilton police homicide Det.-Sgt., Matt Kavanagh, stated that the “investigation has now revealed that Tim Bosma was murdered.” He added that “he (Bosma) was taken to a location in Waterloo area where his body was burned beyond recognition.”

The discovery of highly sought missing person’s completely burnt dead body has transformed the case into an even more saddening and widespread homicidal case for the nation. A suspect, already in custody since the missing person investigation, has now been charged with first-degree murder in light of recent discovery. On the other hand, Police is now looking for two more suspects along with a motive to explain why 32-year-old Bosma was targeted and killed. Kavanagh confirmed that Police believes Bosma was killed soon after his disappearance, while he awaits the coroner’s office to determine a cause of death.

Police has established all the facts, confirming that Bosma left his rural Ancaster home on May 6 to allow test drive of his 2007 black Dodge Ram pickup to two men in their 20s, while another car was witnessed following them in surveillance footage. Hence, the police are continuing the investigation and have new details that has lead the police on the hunt for at least two more suspects.
