Ashan Ravindhraraj charged with arson during G20 summit

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, police arrested a man in connection with damages caused during the G20 Summit.

It is alleged that:

– on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 3:44 p.m., the accused caused damage to two police vehicles in the Queen Street West/Spadina Avenue during the G20 Summit.

Ashan Ravindhraraj, 25, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Arson: damage to property,
2) two counts of Mischief over.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, room 101, at 10 a.m.
