The Los Angeles County fair hosts a funky triple bill with the Brothers Johnson, Rose Royce and The Original Lakeside. In the late ’70s and early ’80s, th Brothers Johnson had four platinum albums, driven by hits like “Strawberry Letter 23,” “I’ll Be Good to You” and “Stomp.” Rose Royce’s “Car Wash” was one of the biggest hits of1976, and the group also had hits with “I Wanna Get Next to You,” “I’m Going Down” and more. Lakeside is best known for their classic 1980 tune “Fantastic Voyage.”
