Homicide investigators are currently investigating a late evening shooting in the Malton area of Mississauga, which left a 32 year-old Mississauga resident dead. This is Peel Regional Police’s ninth homicide of 2011.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at approximately 8:47 p.m., officers responded to an address on Rexwood Road, for a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 32 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has since been identified as Keith BRISSETT Jr., a 32 year-old male resident of Mississauga.

Currently police are looking for a vehicle that investigators believe may be involved in this homicide. The vehicle is described as a newer model four-door sedan, silver in colour.
