Buffalo SabresBuffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that defenseman Brayden McNabb has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. 

McNabb (6’5″, 212 lbs., 1/21/90) joins the Sabres for his second career recall after recording five points (1+4) and 10 penalty minutes in 20 games with the team earlier this season. 

The defenseman, also playing in his first AHL season, has appeared in 36 games for the Americans in 2011-12. McNabb has tallied 25 points (4+21) in Rochester and leads the team with a plus-15 rating. 

A native of Davidson, Saskatchewan, McNabb was selected by Buffalo in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
