Mumbai: Bollywood beauty Amesha Patel, who is not seen on screen these days, will soon start showing off her skills in films as she is shooting for few movies besides she is going to shoot for her home production as well. Ameesha has turned producer and her maiden production titled Desi Magic is all set to go on floors now. She has now allotted the dates to the film after getting free from her shoots of other movies.
For Desi Magic, the makers have planned the 30-day shooting schedule but the commencement date has not been finalized yet. The film has been conceptualized by Kunal Goomer, who is a good pal of Ameesha and the co-producer on the film as well. Patel has also chosen the director for the movie.
The reports have it that he is none other than Mehul Atha, the famed ad filmmaker who has made many ad films with the top notch celebs including Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. The film, as per reports, will be a thorough youth entertainer but be carrying family values as well. For the very first time, Ameesha Patel will enact the double roles in movie.
She will romance with two heroes in the film and both of these heroes will be having great roles to play. The film will be shot in Punjab and London. Ameesha’s characters are of a Punjabi girl and a true hot diva.
She is utterly excited for playing double roles. Kunal says that the double roles are not like the ones in Seeta Aur Geeta and Chaalbaaz rather they will be on the lines of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai as Rakesh Roshan created for the film.
Ameesha is also happy that she has now become a producer as this is the new phase in her life.
