We recently celebrated Women's Day, a day meant to discuss and ensure equal opportunities and social treatments for women. Misogyny and chauvinism, however, are deep-rooted problems that will take a long time before they disappear. Comedian Sumona Chakravarti, on that occasion, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing a bikini. The photo is accompanied by an empowering caption.
Sumona definitely looks like a million bucks in the photo, but for everyone who has the inner moral police triggered with such photos, the caption will make much sense. "Now u will say why am i wearing a swimsuit? Why am i not covered? Listen up," it begins.

She goes on to say how a woman doesn't need anybody's opinion on whether or not she smokes, drinks, goes to work, gets married, and what she wears and what she doesn't should be noone else's business!
"Go enrich your life n the ones around you. Stop with those judgemental, stereotypical, chauvinistic behaviour. That’l be enough for us," she signs off.
No wonder her fans gave loud, virtual applauds for her in the comments section. You go, Sumona!
