Laemmle’s NoHo 7 (North Hollywood, CA)

The Valley Film Festival is now in its twelfth year as the first and leading showcase for contemporary and avant-garde cinema produced by San Fernando Valley residents, along with national and international independent filmmakers. This year’s festival includes a screening of Danish film, Multiple Means of Murder (Mord på mere end én Måde). The film centers around Johnny, an awkward but well-meaning private eye who becomes caught up in the mystery of a gruesome murder. One by one, all of the hallmarks of a delicious mystery are put in place: a mysterious mansion, a sudden storm, a beautiful victim, a suspicious butler and a cast of colorful suspects. Johnny must not only figure out whodunnit, but survive to tell the tale.
