The Grammy Museum presents a rare opportunity to hear one of the great musicians not only play, but also discuss his music with An Evening with Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band. Jaimoe, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, will jam with his jazz-rock collective, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, in between answering your questions. Coming up through the world of ’60s R&B, Jaime cut his teeth playing for legends like Otis Redding and Sam & Dave. In 1969, he joined the Allman Brothers Band as a drummer, blending blues, country, jazz and rock. After much critical and commercial success, he founded the Jasssz Band, an eclectic group of veteran talent, whose album Renaissance Man came out last year to reverent reviews.
