Andrew Cao, Ayman Yousif and Liban Douale charged with drug offences in Toronto

On Wednesday, November 3, 2010, officers from 51 Division Major Crime Unit, responding to community complaints about drugs, attended an apartment building on Sherbourne Street.

As a result of this investigation, three men and a female young offender were arrested.

It is alleged that:

– a loaded .357 Smith and Wesson revolver, $2,000 worth of in crack cocaine and a small quantity of marijuana were seized.

Andrew Cao, 20, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition,
2. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm,
3. Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized,
4. Possession of a Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence,
5. Careless Storage of a Firearm,
6. Carry Concealed Weapon,
7. Weapons Dangerous,
8. Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order,
9. Possession for the Purpose Cocaine,
10. Possession Proceeds of Crime.

Ayman Yousif, 29, of Toronto, is charged with Possession for the Purpose Cocaine.

Liban Douale, 24, of Toronto, is charged with:

1. Possession for the Purpose Marijuana,
2. Fail to Comply Probation.

The accused appeared in court on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Old City Hall.
