Just in time for Halloween season, Rockwell begins its unauthorized musical parody series with this stage production of the hit film franchise Scream. Written and directed by television writers Michael Gans and Richard Register, the musical stars Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) as Sidney, the heroine from the films. This comic adaptation cranks up the campy storytelling with gushing wounds, cheeky narration and the killer’s infamous mask donned by the Screamettes. The Unauthorized Musical Parody of SCREAM! takes Kevin Williamson’s cult film to hilariously exaggerated new territory with new songs, delightful humor and buckets of blood.
