USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Anurag Kashyap may have made some members of the audiences queasy with his film Gangs Of Wasseypur, while the others praised the director for his filmmaking. However, the film which was originally showcased as a five hour affair at the 'Cannes Director's Fortnight' was divided into two parts, so as not to dissuade the audience from watching the film.
However, with Part 2 of the film up for release this week, we learnt that Anurag is all set to showcase the film in its entirety, which means Part 1 and Part 2 back to back at select screens. Apparently, both parts of the film will be screened in a marathon run at PVR Juhu, PVR Phoenix (both in Mumbai) and other Mumbai theatres as well.
While Part 1 of GOW spans through the time period of 1940s to 1990s, Part 2 will be the culminating factor that takes the story forward from the 1990s till 2009.
