Influenced by the turn-of-the century sideshows of Coney Island with a devilish twist, we embrace The Devil’s Cabaret on June 2nd! Exclusive performance by the legendary Sex Gang Children. Also featured this evening is Toronto’s own, The Scarlet Fever. Sideshow shenanigans by Mental Floss Sideshow. Burlesque by The Flying Fox and Coco Framboise. Readings by Suzanne Karima. Tantalizing tunes as spun by DJ Uriel and Mistress McCutchan. Vendors in the foyer Gloommatter, Sex on a Stitch, Plastik Wrap/Bitchcraft, and Mental Floss Sideshow. There is a dress code in effect. Use your imagination and think creepy, turn of the century carny; Coney Island sideshows; vaudeville Victorian; death rock dandy; horns and blood red garb. Be creative and dress to impress. Blue jeans and sneakers will not be permitted. It all takes place at Lula Lounge, located at 1585 Dundas Street. Dinner reservations will guarantee you a table make your reservation at 416.588.0307.
