LAMBADINA is the brain child and directorial debut of Messay Getahun. This film explores the nuances of immigration, lost love and finding one's place and identity in the world. Main protagonist Joseph goes through the challenges of being forcibly removed from Ethiopia and then coming to Los Angeles as a young child with no family or friends to lean on. Joseph goes through a series of both traumatic and life-altering events that is sure to bring audiences a whole new understanding of the human condition.
