On Monday, June 19, 2012, a man was arrested in connection with a historical sexual assault investigation that took place within the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto.
It is alleged that:
– the man has a well-known history and reputation within the RC model airplane community in the Greater Toronto Area
– the sexual assault took place some time between 1978 and 1980
– the victim was a 13- to 15-year-old boy at the time of the offence
Jack Hugh Humphreys, 74, of Maple, has been charged with:
1) Indecent Assault on a male
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.
Police believe there may be more victims.
