Get ready for an evening of Southern soul and spice from the birthplace of jazz. From the street corners and clubs of New Orleans to the luxurious ocean liner Queen Mary, the New Orleans sound loses none of the heart and heat of its hometown on the journey west. Some of the Big Easy’s most popular artists will be jazzing up the waterfront at this musical tribute to the city. Kenny Wayne Sheperd, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint and the Rebirth Brass Brand will take the stage with sounds covering a range of New Orleans styles: contemporary blues rock, Southern soul, gospel, R&B and neo-bop brass band. To really transport you to the scene, vendors will be on hand serving up the flavors of Louisiana.
