Roshans to launch animated series on Krrish

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…For a country where films have always reflected a larger than life image of the leading pair, the Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish series has managed a niche for itself. The currently underproduction sequel Krrish 3, which has been in the making for some time now, finally releases this November. News is that the makers of the film have decided to make an animated series based on the film.
With the cartoon series of the film in mind, animation production house Toonz has partnered with Cartoon Network and director Rakesh Roshan`s Film Kraft Productions to produce four animated movies based on the superhero `Krrish`. The animated movie will follow the childhood adventure of Krishna, who discovers that he can help people and save the world with the special powers bestowed upon him.

Under the agreement, a series of four movies will be created in the next 24 months, the first of which, titled Kid Krrish, will be aired on Cartoon Network on July 14. While the reason behind launching the series we hear is that Rakesh Roshan wants to revive the memory of Krrishthat released back in 2006, gearing up the target audience for the Diwali release of the sequel.
