La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (La Mirada, CA)
A troupe of very cool clowns hits the La Mirada stage — literally — with fantastically skilled pratfalls and loads of circus-themed interactive fun in The Funky Punks. Both kids and adults will get a kick out of the antics of these masterful physical comedians, along with the amazing stilt-walkers, acrobats, puppeteers, dancers and jugglers whose talents add to the extravaganza. There’s plenty more on-stage excitement to keep the crowds equally entertained, plus a few forays into the audience for some participatory hijinks. The show, aimed at everyone age four and older, comes courtesy of the highly-acclaimed Troubadour Theater Company, also known as the Troubies.
